Initiation in the Underground Forest
Hi! My name is Aurélie a.k.a The Wild Fairy, and I am here to invite you on one of the most exciting adventures of your life—one that requires no packing or travelling, only the curiosity to explore every corner of your body and the vastness of your soul.
Inspired by The Handless Maiden tale as told by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés in her book Women Who Run With the Wolves, this 7-week online journey is an initiation into wild womanhood—a guide for every season of your life.
If you’ve been longing to come home to your body, remember your soul, and strengthen your spirit, this space is for you!

A Wild Woman Initiation
There is something heroic about diving into our own abyss. All myths and creation stories teach us about the importance of descending into the underworld and facing our fears. This is where we build strength and resilience. This is where we experience the unconditional love and support of our guides, and strengthen our connection to them. This is where we find our purpose.
For us women, this is where we meet La Que Sabe, The One Who Knows—our Inner Wild Woman.
She’s a force that lives within us all. She can see in the dark, relying on her instincts only. She moves through the world by listening to her body.
I am offering you a safe space to journey deep into your inner world and back, not only to meet her, but to become her.
Over the 7 weeks we will spend together, we will learn to nourish ourselves, develop our senses, and fuel our creativity, from the inside out.
By the end of the initiation, you will feel like you were given a new set of hands and a new pair of eyes to navigate the world with.
Every Sunday, meet us at the door of your inner world.
Why I created this course
In January 2025, I joined a 9-month group study on Women Who Run With the Wolves by Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estés. The pack was led by my dear teacher and friend Mariana Bandera, Founder of Passages. We met 3 times a month to discuss each chapter and share how life was meeting us with the book in our hands.
It was more than a book club—I embarked on an initiation, a rite of passage, an exploration of my own underground forest. I barely read anything else during this time. Instead, I welcomed the book as a teacher. I learned to read with intention, to be present with every page, and digest every word.
I met myself like never before—from the inside out. And I got to be witnessed in my own rebirth by a pack of inspiring women howling for me like wolves to the Moon.
When women come together with the same hunger for life, they create magic. I keep witnessing the same alchemy in the spaces I either hold or join as a participant—strangers becoming sisters, eyes becoming mirrors, words becoming balms for old wounds, souls remembering each other.
Each chapter has its own medicine, but The Handless Maiden touched me the most. This 7-stage journey felt like the most powerful guide a woman could ever have in her hands. Maybe this is why it’s been kept a secret for so long—a trained wild woman is unstoppable.
I moved through the 7 stages with my whole Self, and soon, the medicine of the Dance met the medicine of Story. As a Feminine Embodiment teacher, I firmly believe that deep transformation happens through the body.
This is why I created this journey—to bring together 3 of the most powerful tools I know to transform a woman’s life: free movement, ancient wisdom, and sisterhood.

A sneak peek into our journey
Call 1 | The Bargain Without Knowing
In the Gregorian Calendar: Sunday, November 2nd
In the Mayan Cholq’ij Calendar: Lajuj (10) Kawoq
The first practice is a gentle descent into your underworld—this sacred place where lives your breath, your heartbeat, and the pulse of the entire universe. In silence and stillness, learn to slow down, find safety, and listen to the voice of your body through sensations and emotions.
Call 2 | The Dismemberment
In the Gregorian Calendar: Sunday, November 9th
In the Mayan Cholq’ij Calendar: Kaje (4) Keme
The second practice teaches you how to protect yourself energetically before you go on an inward journey—or at any time in your life for that matter.
As you dive deeper within yourself, you may discover what was taken away from you, which part of your body was shut down, and how to heal your wounds by cultivating time alone and welcoming the healer within.
Call 3 | The Wandering
In the Gregorian Calendar: Sunday, November 16th
In the Mayan Cholq’ij Calendar: Junlajuj (11) Aj
The third call is a fresh start. What are you leaving behind before you go on and explore the darkest corners of your underground forest?
We will discuss the importance of nourishing ourselves physically and spiritually for the journey ahead. I will share with you the importance of creating an altar as it was taught to me by my Maya teachers in Guatemala. We will also explore non-linear movement as a form of wandering and a powerful way to liberate our instincts and attune to our inner compass.
Call 4 | Finding Love in the Underworld
In the Gregorian Calendar: Sunday, November 23rd
In the Mayan Cholq’ij Calendar: Joo (5) Ajpu
The fourth practice is one of a spiritual marriage, for you belong to both worlds—you are body and soul, matter and spirit, human and divine. As you learn to move between them, you may discover new forces, loving helpers, available to hold and guide you.
Call 5 | The Harrowing of the Soul
In the Gregorian Calendar: Sunday, November 30th
In the Mayan Cholq’ij Calendar: Kablajuj (12) Kej
The fifth practice is about building resilience. You’ve come a long way already, and yet, there’s more of you to be met, and more of your medicine to be shared. As you allow this new creative urge to grow, what do you wish to give life to?
Call 6 | The Realm of the Wild Woman
In the Gregorian Calendar: Sunday, December 7th
In the Mayan Cholq’ij Calendar: Waqi (6) I’x’
The sixth practice is about remembering your instinctual nature. This is the Wild Woman way—to navigate the world using your senses. Each of your steps is divinely guided, for you know how to listen with your whole body.
Call 7 | The Wild Bride and Bridegroom
In the Gregorian Calendar: Sunday, December 14th
In the Mayan Cholq’ij Calendar: Oshlajuj (13) Imox
In this seventh and final call, I will guide you through one of my favorite Raindrop Movement® practices—The Seven Stages of Embodiment.
This free movement practice allows you to transition from darkness to light as a way to integrate all of your parts and the deep work you have done in our time together.
